Step 1 - log-in

Existing users
If you already use AEGON's online services you can use the same Unipass certificate or AEGON user ID and password to access AEGON's international investments online services.

New users
If you're a new user, you have to apply to get a Unipass certificate or AEGON user ID and password. We recommend that you use a Unipass certificate as it's an industry standard for online security and allows you to access online services without having to use a user id and password.

To apply for a Unipass certificate or for more information visit www.unipass.co.uk. If you want to apply for a user ID and password, please contact your AEGON branch.

Step 2

Click on the Adviser Login link at the top right of this screen. Enter your user ID and password and click Log in, or click Log in with Unipass. This takes you to the AEGON online services home page.

If you've forgotten your user ID or password contact the eService Helpdesk on 08456 100001.

Step 3

Investment and Retirement Planner
Click on the Investment and Retirement Planner link.

International investments online services
Under the AEGON section click on the offshore bonds link and then follow steps 4 and 5 below.

Step 4

If it's your first time accessing the international investments online services section, it'll prompt you to fill in the online registration form. We'll then process your registration within two working days and email you when you're registered.

Step 5

Once you're registered, you can access the international investments online services by following steps 2 and 3 above. The first time you access the international investments online services section after we've registered you, you'll be shown our Terms of Service. You must accept these terms in order to proceed.

Our independent online financial planning tool, Investment and Retirement Planner, is free, easy to use and allows you to:

• look at all of your client's finances, creating a holistic plan covering budgeting, attitude to risk, short-term goals and longer-term aspirations
• use the task-based approach to focus on one area, such as creating a risk profiler, or carrying out an in-depth review
• easily create a personalised, professional report that outlines your review and includes a realistic and sustainable action plan
• make your advice process easier by recording each scenario that you run, giving you a full audit trail of all your considerations
• make recommendations from the whole of the market

Please note the Investment and Retirement Planner is not a stand alone tool. It should be used alongside, and in addition to, your client fact find and investment research activity.

Our online valuations service is a quick, easy and convenient way to value your clients' portfolios. The internet-based service provides:

• summary and detailed portfolio valuations
• cash account balances and transactions
• cash-in (surrender) values
• contributions and withdrawals information

Our eTrading service allows you to instruct trades on your clients' portfolios online. This service is accessed through our online valuations.

For portfolios invested in internal funds, the service allows you to instruct switches.

For portfolios invested in external funds, the service allows you to:

• instruct buy/sell trades
• instruct 'with-proceeds' trades - combined buy/sell trades where the proceeds of the sells are used to fund the buys
• track the status of trades
• view and print contract notes for settled trades

Our online pipeline service allows you to view a list of all of your clients' outstanding new business applications, as well as policies issued within the last 30 days. From this list you can view:

• complete details for each application
• the current status of each application
• details of outstanding items, if any, that we require to issue a policy
• the date that new business documents were dispatched
